Stay and Play

We’re very excited to be able to offer stay and play sessions here on the farm recommended for ages 6 months to 5 years (babies under 6 months are free and don’t require a ticket. Spend time in nature with likeminded families enjoying this beautiful space.

What to expect:

We will gather down at The Hideout for a short welcome and overview of the session (including how to keep the little explorers safe on the farm).

We’ll then introduce you to some of our friendly alpacas and you can hand feed them.

After hand washing, we'll then venture down to the woodland stopping first at our woodland parachute for story time, we’ll then go deeper into the woods for some stream paddling, den building and time for the children to play in the outdoor play area (compete with mud kitchen, slide, tuff tray etc). We’ll also have a baby sensory area set up for our littlest nature lovers to come and explore.

We have some hammocks and picnic benches down at the stream for parents enjoyment.

Each session is themed around a story and includes a group story time in the woodland with an activity linked to the story.

We’ll then wander back to The Hideout to warm up round the fire (winter sessions) and grab a cuppa.

Hand washing and a compost toilet are available at The Hideout.

Please note, parents must stay with and supervise their children at all times. The walking route to the woodland is not suitable for prams, so we recommend baby carriers.
