Service Description

Come and join us on the farm for a unique alpaca encounter, including alpaca walking and feeding. After your arrival, we’ll introduce you to our lovely team of walking boys (each with their own names and funny personalities) and teach you a few facts about alpacas and alpaca keeping. We'll then go on an alpaca walk with the boys through our newly planted woodland stopping for plenty of photos en-route. We’ll then take a pit stop at the hub of the farm ‘the Hideout’ where you can feed the alpacas, see their fleece up close and have a quick handwashing and toilet break. Important information: - cost: £40 per person ( age 10+) to walk an alpaca. - note: you may bring up to 1 supervising adult and 3 children under age 10 with you free of charge as non-walking ‘farm visitors’. However, please note the terrain is rough in places and young children may not find the walk suitable. - children under 18 years old must attend with an adult. - children to supervised at all times. - the experience is approx 90 mins. ⁃ please arrive on time, but no more than 10 mins prior to your scheduled walk time (to avoid traffic congestion between walks) ⁃ please wear weather appropriate clothes (be prepared for mud, rain, sun and the British weather). ⁃ please wear suitable footwear for walking on rough terrain. We some stinging nettles so we also suggest long trousers - unfortunately the alpaca walking route is not suitable for pushchairs, or wheelchairs (we’d love an accessible route someday) ⁃ no dogs please ⁃ if you are coming as a group, please share a vehicle where possible as we have limited parking available. - tickets are non refundable and non cancellable by you. We reserve the right to cancel, or postpone the the event in the event of adverse weather, or due to other unforseen issues. - this is a working farm with some bumpy terrain, please ensure that you are medically able to join the walk and discuss with a medical professional, if necessary. - no alcohol or drugs to have been consumed prior to or during the walk.
