1. Purpose

We are committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation in all forms. We support the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and expect the same commitment from everyone who works with us.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, contractors, and suppliers.

​

3. Our Commitment

  • We will act ethically and with integrity in all our activities.

  • We will not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our operations or supply chain.

  • We will take steps to ensure those we work with meet these same standards.

4. Responsibilities

  • All team members and volunteers must report any concerns about modern slavery to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Amy Saunders.

  • Management will investigate concerns promptly and take appropriate action, including contacting the police if necessary.

​

5. Due Diligence

  • We assess suppliers and contractors to ensure they operate ethically and in compliance with English law.

  • We will end relationships with any party found to be involved in modern slavery or exploitation.

​

6. Awareness and Training

  • We will provide guidance to staff and volunteers as necessary / appropriate to help them identify signs of modern slavery.

  • We encourage an open environment where concerns can be raised without fear of reprisal.

7. Raising Concerns

If you believe someone is at risk, contact:

  • Non-emergency police: 101

8. Review

We will review this policy annually or following any incident or changes in legislation.
