Important information & terms and conditions

• We are open by booking only. Please do not come to the farm unless you have a booking,

• Please arrive on time, but no more than 15 mins prior to your scheduled experience time (to avoid traffic congestion between experiences). If you are more than 5 minutes late the experience will proceed without you and no refunds will be given.

• Please drive slowly through the farm - there are children, pets and wildlife roaming free.

• Please head down the track and park in the small car park at the bottom. We will greet you on arrival.

• Please note we are a working farm and the terrain is rough in places. Be careful as you walk.

• Please wear weather appropriate clothes and suitable closed toe footwear. We have some stinging nettles, so we also suggest long trousers.

• No dogs please.

• At present we don’t have accessible bathroom facilities, pathways, or a baby change area. so our experiences aren't really suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. We would be happy to discuss whether we can make any reasonable adjustments  to suit your needs. Please contact us at hello@hideawaywood.co.uk.

• Please ensure that you are medically fit and able to join the experience and discuss with a medical professional, if necessary. We have the right to refuse entry if we deem (acting reasonably) that it is not safe for you to join the experience.

• Please do not leave the group and wander off - this is a working farm with hazards.

• Children under 18 years old must attend with a paying adult.

• We reserve the right to cancel, or postpone the experience in the event of adverse weather, or due to other unforeseen issues, or if we do not have the minimum number of people booked. The welfare of the alpacas is our highest priority and at times we may have to cancel or postpone if they seem unwell or the weather is too hot.

• No alcohol or drugs to have been consumed prior to or during the experience.

• Any cancellations by you less than 72 hours prior to the event are non-refundable as it would be incredibly difficult for us to fill the spaces so late.
