Thrive at Hideaway Wood Farm

Thrive at Hideaway Wood Farm CIC is our 

not for profit community interest company operating here on the farm.

Thrive is established as a Care Farm and uses farming practices to help people in need in the community to reconnect with nature, community and animals to improve their mental and physical health.

​

Through the use of Animal Assisted Interventions, nature and land based activities and community support, we hope to help adults and children to thrive. 

​

​Thrive is run by a volunteer board of directors from diverse professional backgrounds and with real life experince. 

​

Some of our sessions include:

• Animal care 

• Animal Assisted Interventions (working with alpacas)

• Woodland management 

• Tree planting

• Horticulture / permaculture 

• Conservation 

• Other nature based wellbeing activities
