1. Policy Statement
Hideaway Wood Farm is committed to providing an environment where everyone—staff, volunteers, and visitors are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. We value diversity and aim to ensure equal opportunities for all, regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, volunteers, contractors, and service users at Hideaway Wood Farm.

3. Principles

  • Respect & Inclusion: We promote a welcoming and inclusive culture where differences are valued.

  • Awareness & Training: We encourage staff and volunteers to take part in training to understand equality and diversity responsibilities.

4. Responsibilities

  • Management will ensure this policy is implemented and reviewed annually.

  • All Staff & Volunteers are expected to treat others with respect and report any concerns.

5. Reporting
Any incidents of discrimination, harassment, or bullying should be reported to Amy Saunders - Director. All reports will be treated seriously, investigated promptly, and handled sensitively.

6. Review
This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if legislation or operational needs change.
