Family Alpaca Experience & Hand Feeding
A unique family experience
Service Description
A unique opportunity to meet our herd up close. On arrival we'll introduce you to our herd (each with their own unique personalities!) and share some information about alpacas and how we take care of them. There'll be time to spend engaging with the alpacas, hand feeding them and of course plenty of photo opportunities. Older children (with a responsible adult leading) can then take the alpacas on a short walk (see Alpaca Trekking for our longer walks for those age 10+). You are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy at one of our picnic benches by our rustic outdoor shelter, The Hideout, with views across the wetlands, woodlands and surrounding countryside. We often have cria (babies) on the farm and you'll likely get to see them during your visit. Duration: 60 mins. Age suitability: all ages. Cost: £40 per family (up to 2 adults and 3 children) Facilities: composting toilets, hand washing, seating and picnic benches at The Hideout Closed shoes and long trousers required.
