Coffee Cola

Coffee Cola was born here on the farm in 2023. With his huge bashful eyes and gentle nature he always catches the eyes of our visitors.

When we started training up our homegrown boys for walk Coffee Cola was totally keen on the walking but less so on the haltering. So we let him come along unhaltered for a while to get used to the idea of what we were trying to get him to wear a halter for.

Whilst he wasn't ready for walking we have been leaning on him to support us in the role of uncle to our newly weaned 10 month old boys and he's been taking care of them beautifully, teaching how to be alpacas and showing them the ropes.

We then discovered ​a few months in that he simply needed to stand against a fence on his right hand side and he stood beautifully for a halter! He's a fellow who knows what he likes and now accompanies our seasoned walkers on customer facing walks and is doing beautifully! Not quite bomb proof yet he still has a tendency to try to run if he gets a bit nervous but he simply needs a calm and confident handler holding him steady and he returns to form.

 

Sadly we can't keep all of our alpacas and so Coffee Cola is available as part of a package for sale (could consider being added to an existing herd with discussion).

He is currently listed with BAS with the option to either register him as breeding or non-breeding, in tact, microchipped, comes with medical history and is fully up to date with husbandry and vaccinations. ​
